What a cozy warm house. Plenty of room for us. Thank you for the wine and milk. The weather was kind to us. we explored Cumbrae and Largs. The beds were great and we liked the recliners. Great views to the front and rear. Lara loved being on the beach and the park by the prom. Great few days away. Thank you

Nicola was a great hostess. Everything thing within the property was well sign posted and explained. We had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very cosy, but also light and airy when the sun was out. The bus stop into town is just across the road (the last bus at that stop) was at around 4pm. Though you can walk up to the main road to catch a later bus. Taxis from the centre of town is under £4. We loved our stay at Cumbrae View Guest House and would love to return at some point ln the future.

Had a great comfortable stay here. Great to be so close to the sea, great places round to eat and drink. The ethernet connection was a great asset to our visually impaired family member. Thanks for the wine and milk. We would love to come back again

We had a fabulous stay in Cumbrae View. the house is comfortable and really well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything and the provision of milk and wine was a nice touch.Tthanks Nicola for everything. Will definitely be back again.
Just returned home from staying at Cumbrae house, had a lovely time the house was very clean and spacious, great location we enjoyed walking our small dog down to the beach he loved running about , our favourite room was the kitchen very comfortable we enjoyed playing board games on the big table and just sitting relaxing . The welcome bottle of wine and milk was a nice touch too thanks Nicola ! Would definitely stay again

This was our 3rd visit to Cumbrae View House. As always it was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The milk, coffees, tea and wine were very welcome after a long journey. We love all the books and games available for guest use too. Only 5 minutes away from the shore so an ideal location for our dogs, and about a 10 minute walk to town.
Cumbrae View House was a lovely holiday home, set in a great location with stunning views. There was everything we needed and more and was comfortable and we felt at home. Lovely to bring along the dogs too.

This is a well equipped, ideal seaside house for visiting Largs. Perfect for dog walking or walks into Largs. The Bosuns table cafe does an excellent breakfast and is a lovely walk along the coast.

Perfect long weekend in Largs. Nicely located near the beach and a pleasant stroll away from all that Largs has to offer. Clean, well equipped, warm and spacious. Nicola kept us well inforned and the guest infornation is excellent. Will certainly rebook.

Fab stay here. Location is excellent - about 200m to the beach and a short walk into town. Property is dated and some appliances could do with some attention (….and the front door) but has everything you will need. Reclining chair in lounge was my fave spot in the evening. Beds clean, comfy and lovely bedding - first time in a single bed for years but slept so well. Stairs are quite narrow but my 18 yo daughter was fine with them so bagged the double bed… Lovely touch with a welcome bottle of wine and milk. Hosts very quick to respond to any questions

Cumbrae View House is well equipped, cosy and very comfortable. It is just around the corner from the beach which is a bonus. The wine, milk, teas and coffees left for us were very welcome after a long journey. We had a great time in Largs which wouldn't have been possible if we hadn't found Cumbrae View House .This was our second visit and we will be back.
The house is perfectly located for Largs! Only a short walk into the centre and even closer to the water front. The house is very well equipped, warm and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a lovely 2 week holiday! It’s been the most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed with everything we could need a beautiful walk away. The house itself is a perfect home from home and very comfortable for a family of 6.

Great location & off-road parking a bonus. Courtyard garden is good for dogs as is nice and secure (no grass but minor issue as grass parkland is within 200metres of property). Close to seafront. Although slightly dated the property was clean & tidy throughout. We were fortunate is spend time in Largs when it was very hot weather - unfortunately the upstairs windows have restrictors on them to prevent opened (understandable from a H&S view) - so get yourself to hardware store for electric fans.
We had a great time staying at the house. It's really comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for a break away. Close to the beach on a quiet street. Great hosting with prompt communications.

Had a lovely stay, homely feel rather than ultra modern but with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Plenty of space and everything you need including dishwater tablets washing up liquid and cleaning materials. Also nice to have some tea, coffee and a nice touch to leave a bottle of wine with a welcome note attached. All you need are your toiletries to make this the perfect place to stay. We had our 2 springer spaniels with us (me, hubby and son), perfect garden space for us all in the sunshine (I know it was great and next door neighbour was lovely and went out of her way to speak to us), the beach is a 2 minute walk from the front door, dogs loved the sea and chasing the gulls. Easy access to the towm 10 - 15 min walk or 3 min drive - lots of shops and places to eat, a bit of something for everyone. Very well done to Nicola and the team, the house was spotless and welcoming and I'd definitely recommend to others to stay here. Great 3 nights away to relax, chill and refresh our minds.

Cumbrae View is a very homely cottage with everyhting you could need. Very warm and cosy, comfortable beds and lovely warm showers. There is a lovely view of the sea from the bedrooms and the shore is only a 5 minute walk away. It is in a lovely quiet area too. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.
A great base for visiting family in Largs and Arran. The decor is very 70s, which made us reminisce about visiting grandparents, and the kids loved all the little drawers and cupboards. They both slept well and my 2 year old enjoyed the puzzle and Springy spider game. A lovely comfortable stay with great views, and a bottle of wine on arrival so everyone was happy!

We can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay!!!! Having had to cancel our Europe trip due to covid we quickly booked a tour of Scotland and found your place as a stop en route to Skye from Nottingham. Largs really pleasantly surprised us! A quiet coastal town with lovely walks, a beautiful house well equipped for a family of 4. A gateway to Loch Lomond, and ferry’s across to Cumbrae and Bute. We dined at Oscars which we can thoroughly recommend too. We loved your reclining sofas and information leaflets on the local areas. A 2 minute walk from the coast is great for families! 15 min walk to the town centre, shops and restaurants. We would recommend to anyone!

I'm always dubious about booking a dog friendly property, but the house was clean with no evidence that a dog had been there. The house is very well equipped. It is only a pleasant 15 minute walk along the sea front to the town centre and Morrison's supermarket is even closer. I would definitely recommend this property. We only stayed for three nights but I would quite happily have stayed for three weeks.

"Great property, Great Location, Great Host....highly recommend this property. We have rented a few different houses in Largs over the years as we come back every summer to visit friends and family. This property is definitely the best we have rented in Largs and whilst we live overseas will definitely be renting again next time we come back."

Down stairs bedroom and bathroom good for people with less mobility,the stairs to upper floor are steep but myself and the children aged 6 and 9 had no problem with them and there is a toilet shower room upstairs and baby gates. Nice veiw from upstairs window. Not much garden space but seafront at bottom of road. Had a great time with the boys so handy, we walked into centre for dinner and enjoyed walking back to house at night with the fairy lights on along the front."

"Lovely, comfy house with fabulous views
Cumbrae View is is a great location with wonderful views of the Great Cumbrae and Firth of Clyde. About 10 minutes' walk into the town of Largs and only a few miles from other towns on the Ayrshire coast. The house is spacious, clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. It has all the things you'd need for self-catering: kitchen utensils and appliances in great order and sufficient numbers. The view from the upstairs bedrooms is wonderful. You can walk down to the waterfront in around one minute to admire the views and get fresh air. Nicola, the owner, was always very quick to respond to communications prior to our visit. There was no need to get in touch during our stay because everything was easy and well explained beforehand. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Cumbrae View for anyone wanting a relaxing and convenient place to say on the Ayrshire Coast."

"The house was very clean and everything worked well. Comfortable base to explore the west of Scotland. Close to very nice walks along the seafront and into town or the local marina. Largs itself is very pleasant, with a couple of good pubs/restaurants. The only downside we found was that the stairs to the top floor are quite steep and may not be suitable for an elderly guest. There is however a nice downstairs bedroom."

"Just returned from this spotless, beautiful and fully equipped house. Weather was even great this week for us. House is perfection itself. Everything you could ever wish to need was there. Lovely flat walk along the front into the main town. Bonus was 2 minutes from house was a small sandy beach, excellent for the bucket and spade gang and a sandy beach is the one thing I always feel that Largs seafront itself lacks being pebbled. Excellent walk for dogs going either left or right from the the front (which did I mention is only 2 mins from house) left heads towards the marina with plenty of grassy areas for throwing dogs ball. All and all a wonderful week only down point was looking back as we left. RECOMMENDED!!!Thank you Nicola for allowing us to stay and I hope to return again.

"Just look at the picture-absolutely perfect/off-street parking/dog friendly/location A1/brilliant.We have 2 two(2) dogs-this house has a large kitchen-plenty of room for their beds-just like home! The walks along the waterfront were wonderful-morning ritual.The area is extremely peaceful,the neighbours very friendly indeed.The house is very, very well equipped-has everything needed for a lovely holiday.Needless to say we will be returning-----only for longer next time!!"

"Perfect family house - 3 good bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and comfortable lounge. Views of the Clyde from the bedrooms were a joy. Off road parking is a definite bonus in Largs and the close proximity to the prom, pencil point and the marina made it an ideal holiday home".

"I am from largs but now live in london . i wanted to visit my family but there was 5 of us so i thought it best to book somewhere to stay rather than impose on family . I love largs and love visiting my hometown and so do my grown up children . I would recommend this adorable cosy and very well equipped house to any family as it as everything you can possible need and largs is a wonderful little town ! The house is also extremely well priced ! I will definitely be rebooking next year .

"The house was fully equipped with everything needed for our family of four with pug. Lovely location for walks along the Prom, very handy for the ferry for trips to Millport or for the station to get to Glasgow. Televisions in the rooms and Wifi for teenagers made this an ideal way to visit family in Largs.

Just back from music festival/ 69 th birthday celebrations, stayed at Cumbrae view with friends and our wee dog... House had everything we needed and was very comfortable , short walk along the prom to the town in good weather it a £3/4 taxi, Aldo a good bus service which runs past the house...would highly recommend this rental and will be using it again

Was very impressed with this accomodation, House had everything and more , kitchen very well equiped, towels and bed linen immaculate. And because there was 6 of us being 2 bathrooms was ideal. Was like home from home. And easy access to other towns. Thankyou Nicola we had a lovely stay.

We spent a very relaxing week here with friends. the house was very clean and well equipped and was within easy walking distance of the town of Largs and Kelburn park where we were attending the Clan gathering. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we plan to return next year if possible.
